Dance Professor and Co-Director Elizabeth Stich recently presented an aerial fabric solo entitled “Starlette” as a guest artist in the production Flight of Fancy “Cinematic” with Aerial Arts of Utah. The concert featured a cast of aerialists, dancers, and actors during three performances at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center in downtown Salt Lake City, November 16-17, 2018.

Stich helped produce the first annual Flight of Fancy production in 2012 as a founding member of the company Aerial Arts of Utah. Now, as faculty at DSU, Stich’s creative research focuses on aerial dance technique and curriculum development in higher education. She is currently teaching the university’s first official course in Aerial Dance Technique, which will be offered again in spring semester due to high student demand.
